Total Triage System – Update for Patients
The Total Triage system has now been in place for six months. We’d like to thank all our patients for your support and for adapting to this new way of accessing care.
As demand for appointments continues to increase, we’re making some changes to help manage this more efficiently.
What’s changing?
Depending on your triage request, we may:
- Send you a link via text message so you can book your appointment online
or
- Book an appointment on your behalf and text you the details
We’ll continue to call patients directly for same-day (“on the day”) appointments when needed.
A quick reminder:
When you submit a triage form, please be ready to receive a phone call or text message from us. We’ve found that many patients aren’t available when we try to call back or respond to our messages, which causes delays for everyone.
There is also no need to call the practice to chase an update on your triage, this can actually slow things down for you and others. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
